C69300 comes in hexagon, round, and other shaped brass rods and brass bars.

ECO BRASS® C69300 is a high-performance, lead-free* brass. It’s a great replacement for leaded fittings and its corrosion resistance properties make it an excellent solution for water supply and plumbing applications.

ECO BRASS® C69300 has excellent dezincification corrosion resistance and excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance. Further, it is corrosion resistant to chemicals found in water and gas. It has high strength equivalent to stainless steel. It also has good machinability, excellent hot forgeability, easily accepts solder and brazing, and has excellent polishing and plating capabilities.

 

Not only is ECO BRASS® C69300 lead-free and compliant with the Federal Drinking Water Act, it also support applications following the U.S. EPA standards for antimicrobial performance which kills Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella choleraesuis, Mycobacterium bovis (BCG), Clostridium difficile, and viruses. Therefore, it can be used as an antimicrobial touch surface in homes and health care facilities

 

Soldering lead to no-lead copper is possible. If the proper procedures are followed, especially in the preheating and heating process, consistent, high-quality solder joints

 

can easily be achieved between copper tube and new, ECO BRASS no-lead copper alloy (brass or bronze) fittings/components.

ECO BRASS® C69300 is available in lengths between 10 – 16 feet and bundle weights between 1,000 – 4,000 lbs. Its shapes include round, hexagon, and other shaped brass rods and brass, with diameters between:

  • 375” – 2.500” in round
  • 375” x 2.00” in hex/hex RC

ECO BRASS® C69300 is typically utilized in PEX fittings, stop valves, ball valves, and both commercial and residential water faucets parts. It is also used in electric and electronic equipment parts and automotive parts.
